Cyprus weather allows you to enjoy the Mediterranean climate pattern of long dry summers and mild winters, making it the ideal holiday destination at any time of the year.

The summer runs from mid-May to mid-October and winter from December to February, separated by the beautiful short seasons of autumn and spring.

Cyprus weather in summer gives a season of long days, cloudless blue skies and high temperatures with welcoming sea breezes in the coastal areas.

In winter the Paphos weather also provides plenty of sunshine during the day.  The weather is mild with some rain and on the Troodos mountains snow is usually seen before Christmas.
Even during December and January these is still an average of 6 hours of sunshine a day.

April-May
Days are very pleasant with plenty of sunshine, but temperatures can drop a bit at night.  This is an excellent season to enjoy the nature trails of The Akamas.

June, July and August
These are the hottest months of the summer.  The best months for spending time laying around the pool, at the beach and taking part in water activities.

September-October
At this time of year the Cyprus weather still offers plenty of sunshine and lovely warm days.

November-December
The days are still lovely and warm but now is the time to pack your autumn clothing.  Light jumpers are a must if you plan to enjoy outdoor sports or lunch outside.  Sunbathing and swimming can still b enjoyed at this time of year.

January-February
These months are considered winter by the locals but to those on holiday it’s like autumn.  Winter clothing is definitely suggested.  This time of year is ideal for day trips to discover what the rest of the island has to offer and conditions are great for skiing on the Troodos mountains.

March
Spring has arrived.  The days are getting longer and warmer and trees are in bloom.  This is a great season to get out amongst it all and experience the trails and country walks.
